Standard atmosphere and service. Pretty good food, I was pleasantly surprised after a string of bad shawarma and gyro on other shops. At this point in time this has been the best I’ve had in the area. Prices are slightly elevated but decently proportional to the serving sizes. Good job to them. Plenty of parking available. I highly appreciate they are open late.
I recently visited this gyro spot and was genuinely impressed especially with their lamb gyro rice bowl. The portion size was more than generous definitely great value for the price. The bowl came packed with perfectly cooked rice and a hearty serving of meat that was juicy, flavorful and seasoned just right. Every bite had a satisfying balance of spices and you could really taste the quality and care that went into the preparation. What stood out most was how tender and succulent the meat was not dry or overcooked like you sometimes find at similar places. The rice was good and complemented the meat beautifully. They also included just the right amount of sauce to enhance the flavor without overpowering it. The service was quick and friendly and the food was hot and fresh. This place clearly takes pride in what they serve. It’s not just fast food but a comfort food done right. If you’re craving something filling, flavorful, and satisfying the lamb rice bowl here is a must try.
The Gyro Shop is legit one of the best spots around if you want quality food without breaking the bank. They always give you a generous portion—never skimpy—and the quality is consistently solid. Their gyros, especially the gyro with rice, are straight-up delicious and packed with flavor. Perfect balance of tender meat, fresh veggies, and that tasty sauce. What really makes this place stand out is the vibe. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel personal. The spot itself is clean and comfortable, a great place to grab a quick, satisfying meal. Prices are fair for what you get, which makes it easy to come back again and again. If you’re looking for a reliable place with good food, great portions, and genuinely nice people running the show, the Gyro Shop is a must-try.
Little hole in the wall. Quick service as I was grabbing a quick lunch. Food taste fresh - sometimes kabob platters can be dry. Think it’s just perfect for me as the vegetables tasted fresh. Sauce were pretty balance and not overwhelming. Would recommend if you need a quick bite. Portions definitely enough for 1.5 person. One order will have left overs.
The restaurant is a bit quiet, shout out to the female server who is usually the one working non stop filling out to-go orders - the chapli kabob platter is Amazing! I drive nearly a half hour to get it at least once a week! AMAAAAZING!
Wow. Amazing food here. I ordered via my works food delivery app and my food got here 15 minutes before it said it would be delivered. I ordered the falafel platter. The falafels were dense (which I personally like better than the ones that fall apart) and they were still hot. The before meal was great. The hot sauce they included was spicy! Love that. The white sauce was mild and creamy. I would 100% order here again (and will). Thanks.
Got the combo platter. Lamb and chicken tasted good. Very flavorful and not too salty or greasy. Portion size was great. They did not skimp on meat or rice. Also got the lamb gyro fries. Flavorful and fries were crispy. Definitely more than enough food for 2 people.
